Info Kirjakauppa Pukstaavi Ky is Finland’s northernmost infokirjakauppa bookshop. The infokauppa co-operative (www.info.fi) was founded in 1972 and is still the country’s largest private bookshop chain.
We pride ourselves on being customer-oriented, with an emphasis on reliability, a wide selection to choose from, ease of shopping and good customer service.
We have a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction. We strive to keep as many books from local authors in our selection as possible. We also stock craft and art supplies, academic and annual calendars, cards for different occasions, school and office supplies, board games and puzzles, terrain and outdoor maps, and a photocopying service.
A bookshop was established in Sodankylä as early as 1924. With various owners, the shop has remained in our village to this day and the owner has always been an entrepreneur from Sodankylä. The current bookshop has been owned by Tuovi Simula since June 9, 2006.
Our opening hours are: Mon – Fri 9.30 – 18.00, Sat 10.00 – 14.00, Sun closed.
