Pirita Design designs and manufactures 100% linen and alpaca knitwear responsibly in Sodankylä. Our product range includes knitwear for women and men, bedspreads and cushion covers, as well as gentle exfoliating washing gloves for the face and body.
The 100% linen we use comes from Italy. The fibre is grown in Europe, and the yarn is Öko-tex certified. Alpacas grazing in the mountains of Peru produce our Öko-tex certified 100% baby alpaca, responsibly produced in Peru. More about responsibility can be found on our website.
Our My Sodankylä table runners are inspired by the coat of arms of Sodankylä and an outfit made on the same theme. This simple and elegant knitted linen cloth will beautifully suit a traditional or a modern home. The My Sodankylä table linen has a slightly different surface and pattern on each side.
We can also make linen table runners according to your own measurements. Hopefully this lovely linen cloth will inspire table discussions to recall different experiences in Sodankylä, or to make new plans.

Care instructions
Wet the cloth first and wash separately. Use a small amount of mild detergent. Choose a short wool or delicate wash program at 40 ºC with a maximum spin speed of 800. Firmly lay the cloth to dry on a flat surface, at this point you can “iron” the cloth smooth with the palm of your hand and press the edges flat. The dry cloth can be steam ironed on setting three.

For gift deliveries, the recipient can be different from the buyer. The cloth is nicely packed, and a personal greeting can be written in the comment field, which will be included in the package.
